Located in Lugon et L’Ile du Carney and surrounded by the estate vineyards AOC Bordeaux Château de La Vieille Chapelle is a 12th-Century Roman Chapel offering a garden and terrace with a direct view on the Dordogne river. Free wine tasting of selected wines from the estate is offered every evening from 18:30. Wine tasting activities are also possible in Saint-Emilion a 30-minute drive. All rooms are fitted out of the old chapel ruins with direct access to the garden and feature a heated tiled floor a wardrobe a large bed and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. They are decorated with a light Asian touch in soft shades with linen curtains and sheets. One of the rooms is adjusted to welcome disabled people. A continental breakfast with homemade jam and French pastries is provided each morning.
